I am researching music and conflict transformation for my PhD thesis and my fieldwork has been with the Pontanima choir (Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina) and the Songlines choir (London, UK). I have used ethnographic interviewing, action research and grounded theory in order to investigate how music is mobilised in these scenes and if and how these processes can affect conflict transformation.
